We also have a total of over 10,000 products which is unprecedented in the Japanese kitchenware industry. This gives our customers the ability to fully supply their kitchen with only Pearl Life products. Pearl Life products are widely distributed to every corner of Japan and now looking to expand beyond that. We will continue to deliver our products with a high level of quality and functionality that we have maintained throughout our history.

 Takanami, the founder and current chairman of Pearl Life, has been expanding the business in a very forward-thinking way, always keeping an eye on how things look from a global perspective. He has advanced into the Chinese market and has been one of the premier companies at delivering convenient and high-quality household items consistently.

 Our mission is to enrich everyone's life by distributing Pearl Life from Tsubame, Niigata, not only to Japan and China but also to every corner of the globe.

Manufacturing

-What is the TsubameSanjo area? How and Where did Pearl Life start and where is it located?

The Tsubamesanjo area in Japan has been famous for manufacturing metal processing products such as nails, piles, sickle, hoe, and other agricultural equipment for more than a hundred years. The metal processing industry began shifting to tools and kitchenware along with other household items as people's lives and roles in the Japanese economy began to evolve after the war.

Pearl Life was born around this time. It was created to distribute high-quality products produced in the Tsubame-sanjo area and to deliver them to other parts of Japan. We traveled to visit retail stores all over Japan for them to personally review Pearl Life products. As we did so, we received more and more orders, which is how Pearl Life began to grow.

-Quality and Product control system

Most Pearl Life products are manufactured in our overseas factories including ones in China, Korea, and Vietnam so we are able to fulfill our high level of demand.

The planning team at Pearl Life produces all our products based on feedback from our market and customers. We will always work to preserve some of the major features of Japanese products such as functionality, and high quality while maintaining a high level of quality control and materials. We will continue providing what the market needs both now and in the future. Our proprietary system of planning, manufacturing, and marketing is the greatest advantage that Pearl Life has. 

-Metal

We purchase our steel products from local manufacturers in TsubameSanjo. Especially for iron frying pans, we subject the hammered finish to the side to strengthen the pans, moreover, we reduce the thickness of the material itself to reduce the weight while still maintaining its durability. In addition, it has been applied to nitriding processing which makes it more resistant to rust.
